Main responsibilities and tasks

• Project management, design, engineer and execute projects for expansions, improvements, operation and maintenance of the subsea fibre infrastructure

• Provide engineering administrative support for tenders, projects, and studies

• Contribute to improvements in short, medium-, and long-term Life Cycle Management for
  the Fibre Optic Cable infrastructure in Tampnet

• Special focus on amplified (repeatered) submarine fibre optic cable systems (power feed equipment (PFE), optical performance, testing and verification)

• Installation contractor follow up, cable supplier management

• Product development related to fibre and Tampnet’s subsea infrastructure

• Contribute to a positive work environment in the team/department

Qualification requirements

• Relevant master’s degree

• Minimum 3 years relevant experience

• Relevant experience may compensate for the requirement of education
