Job requirements

Main responsibility and tasks

  • Produce project management and engineering deliverables, work packages, drawings, documentation and solutions for use by Oil & Gas operators’ as well as construction crews to install telecom infrastructure offshore

  • Apply appropriate project management and engineering principles, best practices and know how, what and when there are key project inputs and outputs supposed to be applied

  • Know, learn, understand and apply customer technical requirements and apply to deliverables that are being produced

  • Lead the development and execution of project plans

  • Lead the representation of the project internally through verbal and written correspondence

  • Lead the development, analysis, and reporting of project KPIs

  • Liaise with peers and stakeholders such as subject matter experts, other disciplines, to deliver an integrated and correct solution to customers

  • Collaborate and knowledge share with the other technology verticals to further develop and improve existing solutions for a continuous improvement from Project Quality, i.e. interaction with the LoS, Optical, LTE and MPLS verticals

  • Strategic point of contact for customer(s), establish strong relationships and oversee and coordinate customer activities for the assigned customer(s)

  • Ensure that operational changes like rig moves, spectrum changes, operator change, Third Party changes, and backhaul changes are understood and delivered within the agreed time frame

  • Work with Operations team to maintain and improve the service delivery process

  • Monitor service levels, follow up Operations team to avoid breaches

  • Analysis of overall service performance, incidents, root cause analysis and possible areas of concern

  • Govern problem management and create service improvement plans

  • Monitor client complaints and take required action where necessary

  • Encourage respective discipline managers to implement creative solutions

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from university required or relevant experience required minimum 3 years in Project Management and/or Service Delivery with offshore Oil & Gas or related field

  • Experience in Telecommunications

  • Analytical skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • High level of customer service skills

  • Networking knowledge is a plus

Security requirements
