We are now looking for a Senior Accountant for a temporary position from October 2025 to the end of September 2026, covering a leave of absence.

Job requirements

Main responsibility and tasks

  • Accounting tasks from A-Z

  • Perform general accounting and payroll tasks

  • Payroll and travel expenses for the Norwegian and Swedish entity

  •  Responsible for follow-up accounting and payroll for the Norwegian and Swedish entity to ensure timely and correct accounting, payroll and reporting

  • Accounting, remittance and reconciliation for Tampnet AS, Tampnet AB and Brent Holding AS

  • Accounts payable

  • Reconciliation of balance sheet items

  • Perform month-end closing tasks

  • Registration of customs declarations

  • Contribute to the professional development of the department

  • Assist Tampnet’s Finance team in carrying out other relevant assignments

Qualification requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting

  • 3-5 years’ experience with accounting and payroll (Authorized accountant is preferable)

  • Experience from international companies or international business environments would be an advantage

  • Experience from oil and gas and/or telecommunications would be an advantage

  • Good understanding of relevant accounting systems

Relevant experience may alleviate the requirements

  • Strong verbal and written skills in both Norwegian and English

  • Good social and communications skills

  • Flexible, attention to detail, and interested in understanding the business

  • Self-driven and taking initiative

  • Ability to cope with a high pace of work in a hectic environment

  • Systematic, analytic and be able to see the big picture
