Job description
Tampnet is now looking for a Offshore Field Engineer to join our team.
This position is open to be filled in UK, Norway or the Netherlands.
In this position, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning and maintenance of the Tampnet infrastructure at on- and offshore locations. You will make a strong contribution to quality and work closely with Project Managers, NOC (Network Operation Center) and the Operational team.

The Field Engineer reports to the Manager, Field & Technical Services North Sea. 
Job requirements
Main responsibility and tasks
- Survey, Installation, Commissioning and maintenance of Microwave radio links, LTE/4G, VSAT and network equipment offshore globally 
- Mechanical Assembly of large antennas 
- Electrical connectivity of devices 
- Preparation, testing and staging of equipment 
- Incident investigation / handling at on and offshore locations 
- Close co-operation with Project Managers and Engineers 
- Creation and revision of Tampnet Site Documentation 
- Contribute to a positive working environment in the team / department 
Qualification requirements
- Previous telecommunications experience 
- Previous offshore experience 
- A health declaration is part of the application procedure 
- Flexible, inquisitive and relevant education 
- Good knowledge of the English language 
- Relevant and valid offshore certifications
