Job requirements
Main responsibility and tasks
Actively comply, enforce, and participate in Tampnet HSEQ policies and procedures
Assess safety and business risks associated with field activities
Represent Tampnet in a professional manner while following all customer policies
Read, understand, and follow detailed scopes of work for projects
Read, understand, and follow dispatch summaries of jobs
Ability to safely install equipment at heights following all industry standards and guidelines
Availability 24 hours per day on scheduled days of work
Ability to work shifts which include extended numbers of days per hitch
Manage processes through Tampnet sponsored software and accounting practices
Remain capable of supporting work through technical training
Work closely with support teams to ensure proper execution of the project
Travel to remote locations as needed via air, land, and sea
Participate in continuous improvement efforts
Lead or participate in after-action reviews
Participate in emergency response team as necessary
Perform other technical tasks within his/her area of expertise
Qualification requirements
Must be 21 years of age or older
Minimum 2 years experience in offshore communications environment (preferred wireless telecommunications)
Maintain a valid US Driver’s License with a clean driving record
Maintain or be able to maintain TWIC Card
Ability to attend training as needed for travel by helicopter and boat to work locations
1 year experience with fiber and RF test equipment preferred
