Job requirements

Main responsibilities and tasks

  • Revenue billing, including use of client portals

  • Perform revenue accruals

  • Processing of cost invoices

  • Perform bank reconciliations

  • Reporting of value-added tax (VAT)

  • Reconciliation of balance sheet items

  • Perform general accounting tasks

  • Perform month-end closing tasks

  • Registration of customs declarations

  • Contribute to the professional development of the department

  • Participate in carrying out other relevant assignments

Qualification requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting

  • 3-5 years’ experience with accounting

  • Authorized accountant

  • Experience from international companies or international business environments would be an advantage

  • Experience from oil and gas and/or telecommunications would be an advantage

  • Good technical skills and understanding of relevant accounting systems

  • Experience with using Finance automation tools / AI

Relevant experience may alleviate the requirements

  • Strong verbal and written skills in both Norwegian and English

  • Good social and communications skills

  • Flexible, attention to detail, and interested in understanding the business

  • Self-driven and taking initiative

  • Ability to cope with a high pace of work in a hectic environment

  • Systematic, analytical, and able to see the big picture
