We are now looking for a Senior Accountant for a temporary position from October 2025 to the end of September 2026, covering a leave of absence.

Job requirements
Main responsibility and tasks
Accounting tasks from A-Z
Perform general accounting and payroll tasks
Payroll and travel expenses for the Norwegian and Swedish entity
Responsible for follow-up accounting and payroll for the Norwegian and Swedish entity to ensure timely and correct accounting, payroll and reporting
Accounting, remittance and reconciliation for Tampnet AS, Tampnet AB and Brent Holding AS
Accounts payable
Reconciliation of balance sheet items
Perform month-end closing tasks
Registration of customs declarations
Contribute to the professional development of the department
Assist Tampnet’s Finance team in carrying out other relevant assignments
Qualification requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting
3-5 years’ experience with accounting and payroll (Authorized accountant is preferable)
Experience from international companies or international business environments would be an advantage
Experience from oil and gas and/or telecommunications would be an advantage
Good understanding of relevant accounting systems
Relevant experience may alleviate the requirements
Personal qualities
Strong verbal and written skills in both Norwegian and English
Good social and communications skills
Flexible, attention to detail, and interested in understanding the business
Self-driven and taking initiative
Ability to cope with a high pace of work in a hectic environment
Systematic, analytic and be able to see the big picture
Security requirements
