Job requirements

Main Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Work in close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with the Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) strategy, policy, and process

  • Ensure reporting of quality incidents and assist with the subsequent investigation process using in-depth knowledge and understanding of regulatory QHSE standards and or requirements (i.e., ISO, OSHA, DOT, TCEQ)

  • Develop, maintain and improve the QHSE Management System to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, customer requirements and standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001/OHSAS

  • Identify and manage QHSE risks by completing regular inspections, internal/external audits and actively communicate with all employees to ensure company risk methodology and tools are adopted by the organization

  • Support group QHSE initiatives and ensure regional implementation

  • Work independently to identify, implement and manage any local QHSE requirements such as laws, regulations, and customer requirements

  • Monitor, review and analyze QHSE performance and identify appropriate initiatives to ensure continuous improvement

  • Assist in the continuous improvement of Tampnet’s management system and connected procedures

  • Ensure timely QHSE reporting to local management, customers and regulators

  • Conduct internal/external Quality audits and follow-up of suppliers

  • Manage contract start-up activities and pre-bid tender questionnaires

  • The Job Holder may at times be subject to other relevant tasks than described here.

Qualification Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of industrial Quality experience with a focus on legislation & best practice and appropriate industry-specific qualifications in USA offshore Oil & Gas

  • A Bachelor`s degree in Quality Control management or similar is preferable

  • Proven experience in service delivery within the telecom or oil and gas industry

  • Proven experience in ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 Management systems

  • Certified Management Systems Auditor (CMSA) is preferable

  • Capability in conducting effective incident/accident investigations and creating relevant reports

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, project management, and problem-solving skills are required along with the ability to mentor, coach, and motivate others

  • Travel to other Tampnet offices and customer locations is to be expected
