Main responsibilities and tasks

  • Accounting tasks from A-Z

  • Perform general accounting and payroll tasks

  • Payroll for non-Norwegian entities, expat and international agreements

  • Responsible to follow-up accounting and payroll in all entities in North Sea region to ensure timely and correctly accounting, payroll and reporting from these entities

  • Accounting, remittance and reconciliation for Tampnet UK and Tampnet NL

  • Accounts payable

  • Reconciliation of balance sheet items and capex

  • Prepare sales invoices for customers

  • Perform month-end closing tasks

  • Contribute to the professional development of the department

  • Assist Tampnet’s Finance team in carrying out other relevant assignments

Job requirements

Qualification requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting

  • 3-5 years’ experience with accounting and payroll (Authorized accountant is preferable)

  • Experience from international companies or international business environments would be an advantage

  • Experience from oil and gas would be an advantage

  • Good understanding of relevant accounting systems
